Window and Shade
It’s a sunny day with just the right smattering of clouds to break up a monotonous sky. There is the most lovely, gentle breeze, which is a real treat here in North Dakota. The humidity is not through the roof. It is, simply put, a perfect day.
But I don’t feel well. I haven’t most of the week and it has peaked these last two days into achy, sleep-filled hours.
If I draw the shades and refuse to look, will it mean there’s that much more for someone else to enjoy?
I hope so.
