Tipsy in Mound City, South Dakota
I am aware of the distortion…I like it.
The first word on the sign seems to be Larson’s.ย I’d love to hear what you think the second word is.

Very nice! Could it be: LARSONSTORE? Hard to tell for sure : )

Thank you Amy ๐ I have to wonder how long it will actually stand before it tips over.

I wondered when I watch the photo. I’m surprised it’s standing there… ๐

Very cool find and capture! It took me a while but here is that website I was thinking of…photostealer’s wall of shame: http://stopstealingphotos.com/2015/01/

Thanks for sharing this with me Susan. It’s a small measure of satisfaction to see some of these sites being exposed. It is amazing and completely disheartening to see how rampant this problem is. I’ve had one of my restorations taken, again, by someone I gave notice to so I’ve just removed all my restoration photos.

When I look at the wheel, it seems that your photo is more oblique than the house. Could it be a normal house at a hill-road?

It’s a good question Tom but that area was as flat as a pancake! I took this a few years ago, I’ll have to take another trip to see if it’s still standing.

This house is probably haunted.

You and Debb have good eyes! I can’t say for sure but I do get enough of a hint that I tend to agree. It might be enough of a draw to get me to take another trip up to Mound City – lol.

I’m not going to try to guess that second word – too faint! I like the waves up in the sky, too – they add to the hallucinatory atmosphere! ๐

I know some may think the banding is a flaw but I really like it and to describe it as hallucinatory is quite fitting. Thanks for the comment! ๐
